Rosemarie Kelliher moved to the United States in 1996 and wanted to bring a bit of Ireland with her. As a result, she launched Roisin Knitwear in 1998.
With hard work work and lots of viscose chenille, Roisin Knitwear took off across California. Roisin, pronounced “Row-Sheen,” meaning “Little Rose,” delivers authentic Irish knitwear to those around the world. Every knitwear product is handmade in Folsom, using techniques and materials from Ireland, as well as French and Italian ribbons.
