“The Davis Farmers Market Cookbook” and a market seller earned Snail of Approval Awards on Dec. 10 from Slow Food Yolo.

The Terra Madre Day Celebration was at Preserve in Winters. Other winners included market seller Henry’s Bullfrog Bees & PURE Honey, along with Manas Ranch and Custom Meats, Full Belly Farm, Great Bear Vineyards. Woodland Farmers Market, Capay Gold Olive Oil Company, Kitchen 428 and Yolo Food Bank.

The Davis Farmers Market was a 2018 winner.
