Perry Farms Tomato Pie

  • 3-4 tomatoes, sliced 1/4" thick
  • crushed basil
  • garlic salt
  • flour

  • 1-1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1-1/2 c. grated white cheddar cheese

9" pie shell

Heat oven to 350. Pre-bake shell for approximately 5 minutes.

In slightly cooled shell, arrange one single layer of tomatoes. Sprinkle with crushed basil, garlic salt and flour. Repeat about two more layers. Combine mayonnaise and grated white cheddar cheese. Spread over top of tomatoes, filling all edges.

Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until starting to turn golden brown.
