An event sponsored by the Yolo County Agricultural Initiative celebrating the connection between Yolo County's number one crop - processed tomatoes- and America's favorite foods like pizza, pasta and salsa.

More than a dozen favorite regional restaurants, including Tuco’s Wine Shop and Café of Davis, The Mustard Seed of Davis, The Village Bakery and Osteria Fasulo of Davis, Oliveto of Oakland, Citizen Cake of San Francisco, Moody’s Bistro of Truckee, Tazzina Bistro of Woodland and Monticello Bistro and Buckhorn Catering of Winters, as well as the lunch team from Davis Joint Unified School District, will be sampling bite size pieces of dishes that use canned tomato product.  A free, original recipe booklet by local award-winning cookbook author, Georgeanne Brennan, will be available with interesting home uses for canned tomato product.
