The 8th annual Davis Cesar Chavez Celebration sponsored by the City of Davis Human Relations Commission will be held at the market.  The Keynote  Speaker will be Lorena Oropeza, Associate Professor of History at UC Davis.  Introducing the program will be Najme Minhaj, Chair Human Relations Commission.  The program will open with a performance by the UC Davis dance troupe Danzantes del Alma.  In honor of the Cesar Chavez event , El Mariachi Taqueria will be offering Mexican hot chocolate and pan dulce for $1.00.  Free children's coloring and "Si Se Puede" sign making supplies will also be available.
