Special screening of documentary, The Last Crop
The Last Crop is a 23-minute work-in-progress by Chuck Schultz that explores the mounting struggles of sustaining a small farm when set against the pressures of competition with sprawl, large-scale farm production, and the difficulties of passing land onto the next generation. The documentary features Davis Farmers Market founders and vendors, Annie and Jeff Main.

Come meet filmmaker Chuck Schultz and local farm films stars Annie and Jeff Main for a special screening of the 23-minute work-in-progress of The Last Crop, presented by Davis Farm to School Connection and Slow Food Yolo. Tickets are available at www.brownpapertickets.com and at the door, $10 general admission, $7 for seniors and students, children 11 and under are free. Complimentary beverages will be served and gourmet popcorn and local fruit popcicles from Aisu Pops will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit Davis Farm to School Connection (www.davisfarmtoschool.org) and Davis High School's Future Farmers of America program.
